Introduction:

The University of Georgia Redcoat Band and Auxiliaries are known for their contributions to the school spirit, pride, musical excellence and traditions.  The Redcoat organizations provide leadership for musical, twirling and dance organizations throughout the nation via alumni participation and educational example. If there is one item that is needed and that would enhance the Redcoat organizations' ability to prepare more completely for their charter, it is a dedicated practice complex that would give the Redcoats a "home" for day or night practices, a platform to promote competitive recruiting, and a venue for an Athens performance tradition.

The 100 Yards for 100 Years Campaign will speed the construction of the finest collegiate marching band practice complex in existence.  The complex will provide the Redcoats the tools needed to continue their college musical leadership position.
