Welcome to the Homecoming 2008 Alumni Registration Site. Again, the Redcoat Alumni Band, including the Redcoat Alumni Auxiliaries will have the honor to perform the pregame show in Sanford Stadium for over 92,700 cheering Dawg fans at the GA-Vandy Game on Saturday, October 18, 2008. The Redcoat Alumni Band and Redcoat Auxiliaries have performed every Homecoming since 1974; and this year's will be our 35th performance. One morning rehearsal will give us the confidence to be the "Finest in the Land" ... "One More Time." Don't miss being with your friends and experiencing the excitement!
Game Ticket Registration - New 2008 Policies!
Since the first Redcoat Alumni Band performance in Sanford Stadium, the Redcoat alumni performers were offered performer tickets from the UGA Athletic Department. As the success of the Bulldog football team became greater, the demand for tickets increased for all games. This year, there are only six home games, including the Vanderbilt Homecoming event. The UGA Athletic Department has increased support for the Redcoats and the new practice facility, however, the support for the "no charge" performer tickets for Homecoming 2008 has been dropped. This year, there is a charge for "performer" tickets, like "family" tickets have been handled in past years.
Most of the 92,700 Bulldog fans must decide on their ticket purchases by March 31st. We have more time to place our orders. This extended window should increase the spirit and the numbers that we bring to Homecoming this year. The alumni football players never have the chance to play in Sanford Stadium again. We have a precious opportunity to perform "one more time"... one performance that none of us want to miss!

Registration for "Performer" and "Family" tickets is open from
May 10th to August 1, 2008.
Performer Ticket (Policy Change): If you do not have your own ticket to the game, the first 400 registered performers can purchase a discounted "Performer" ticket, to enter the stadium. With the increased assistance that the Athletic Department is providing the current Redcoats, the policy of "no charge" Performer Tickets has been stopped. In this transition year, your performer ticket can be purchased at a discounted price from the single-game ticket price. Family Tickets (policy unchanged): If you are performing in the pre-game performance, you can purchase "Family" tickets, at the single-game price, to be delivered in your envelope at the morning rehearsal. Deadline (Extended): The last date for us to receive a check paying for "Performer" and "Family" tickets is Tuesday, August 1st. At that time , the Redcoat Band Alumni Association will purchase, from the UGA Athletic Department, only the tickets for which we received checks.
Redcoat Luncheon Event Registration!
Plans for a Redcoat Alumni Event that day include an INDOOR LUNCH in the CONTINUING EDUCATION CENTER between our morning rehearsal and stadium entry times. This location is conveniently on the way to the stadium where we can eat, refresh, and be ready to perform. We will have signs designating all represented decades, so Redcoat alumni can sit together by decades and share more time with your musical/Auxiliary friends. Drawing for prizes will again be a highlight. We plan this event for your convenience and enjoyment, so SIGN-UP NOW, to help assure the event's success. You can pre-pay for adult or child lunch tickets, with your registration check.
Curious About Your Buddies? - New this year! Last year, you were be able to see who had registered from your decade or section/group. And "SEE" is the operative word for a new feature! You can upload a current picture to the web site for others to see; and view all your buddies by section/group. Link found below.
"Music Notes" - Coming Soon! - New this year! You can see a burb on each Redcoat that is coming back. How is this possible you ask???? By each of you putting a paragraph about yourself on the Redcoat Alumni website. Thanks for cooperating!
