A couple of the Redcoat upperclassmen and student leaders have started writing a booklet of traditions that have been a part of the band. Some of the topics include the following topics: stories from each section, why Sousaphones are satin silver, origins of Sweet Georgia Brown in the band, origin of the Chant, origin of "Once a Dawg", Sandy Creek Park for Band Camp and Nina B's Chunky Chicken.
