Homecoming 2010 - Only 2 weeks away!

Dear Homecoming 2010 Performers,

Just 2 weeks until the 2010 Redcoat Alumni Band Homecoming!  This year is shaping up to be the most exciting weekend ever in the over 35 years

We hope that all of you who wish to participate in this weekend’s festivities have made your plans to join us on Friday and Saturday, October 15-16.  We would love to have each and every one of you with us to enjoy the fellowship like no other organization on the Planet - the Redcoat Band!

All of the seats allocated to us are already gone. If you still need tickets, please check the swap page section of the Redcoat Alumni Band website immediately.  You must have a ticket to enter the stadium and a current RBAA nametag to perform on the field.   

As Homecoming weekend approaches, we will keep you updated as to kickoff time, since that dictates the entire gameday, luncheon at Tate, and morning rehearsal schedule.  And after the game, you and your family are invited to join us back at the Tate Center for a postgame cake reception for all current and alumni Redcoats.  So keep an eye out for upcoming e-mails and check the website often. 

There are still a few seats remaining for the Friday night Fundraising Gala at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education for the Redcoat Band instrument campaign.  This is an evening you won’t want to miss if you are in Athens!  With keynote speakers Vince and Barbara Dooley and other UGA legends, it will be a fun, exciting time and a great way to support the Redcoats! 

Let’s support the band as we all remember the special place the Redcoat Band has played in all of our lives.  Print out your music and marching charts prior to that weekend, and get ready to step between the hedges!
