Hi Redcoat Alumni!

As I mentioned at Homecoming, we would like to continue the tradition of forming an Alumni Basketball Band during the Holidays.

DETAILS:

Now that we are confirmed for the Outback Bowl on January 2nd in Tampa, we would like to invite you to participate in the following Basketball games at Stegeman Coliseum:

Friday, December 30th, 2:00pm tipoff (Men vs. Delaware State)
Sunday, January 1st, 2:00pm tipoff (Women vs. Arkansas)

Plan for a 12:00pm call time each game at Stegeman to get instruments and run through the music (Glory, Bulldog March Medley, Krypton, Battle Hymn, select tags, and 1 or 2 stands tunes)

Athletics has offered free tickets for your family, a light meal for you (sandwiches, pizza, etc) before each game, and a free t-shirt to wear for the game.

INSTRUMENTS:

Because Redcoats will be out of town, we will have only a limited number of instruments available to use, and you will need to RSVP by the date below to secure one (Available school instruments: Sousaphone, Baritone, Mellophone, Tenor Sax, Piccolo). Spots for all instruments will be filled on a first-to-reply basis, so RSVP as soon as you can.

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

RSVP to saj@uga.edu by Monday December 12th with the following information:

-Name
-Which game/games you can play
-Instrument (and part you played)
-Do you need a UGA instrument?
-Years in Redcoats
-Preferred contact information (email, phone)
-T-shirt size (men's sizes)
